There are those extremely rare days when we’ll actually make full on eye contact. Literally like once every few weeks, or even once a month even! I just never see you anymore. But honestly, every time we have those rare moments…I spend the next few seconds in shock just because, in that single moment of our eyes holding real contact before fleeting away, everything from our past rushes back to my mind AND heart. But mostly the heart.

Then we both go back to living our completely separate lives.
